
There is a large collection of enamels in the Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, most of which were made inGuangzhou, including elaborate master works for the royal palace and products of the folk workshops. The major technique is painted enamel, combined with cloisonné and champlevé. Diverse in molding, brilliant in ornamentation, exquisite in craftsmanship and wide in application, these enamel works illustrate the details of daily life and the blending of different cultures at the time.
